Author / Publishing Agreement

This Agreement is between you (the Author) and Scribbla.com Ltd. It applies whenever you publish a book through the Scribbla bookstore.

1. Licence to Scribbla

You grant Scribbla.com Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, transmit, display, market and distribute your published book through the Scribbla bookstore and reader, and to produce previews and excerpts for promotion. You may withdraw a book at any time, subject to a reasonable wind-down period for fulfilment.

2. Author warranties

You warrant that:

• you own or have cleared all rights in the work;
• the work does not defame any person or breach their privacy;
• the work does not infringe any third-party intellectual property right;
• any AI-assisted material has been reviewed by you for accuracy and originality;
• the work complies with the Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Indemnity

You will indemnify Scribbla.com Ltd against losses arising from breach of these warranties or from any claim that your work infringes a third-party right.

4. Royalties and payouts

Royalty rates and payout schedules are set out in your author dashboard and may be updated on 30 days' notice.

5. Takedown

We may take down any work that we reasonably believe breaches this Agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law. We will tell you and offer an appeal route, except where the law requires immediate action.
