Refunds & Cancellations

1. Pricing

Live pricing for plans and Quill bundles is shown on the pricing page and inside checkout. UK and EU prices are displayed VAT-inclusive at the rate applicable in your country at the time of purchase. US and other prices may add tax at checkout where required. Stripe is our payment processor — its Consumer Terms and Privacy Policy also apply to the payment leg.

2. Your 14-day cancellation right

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, UK and EU consumers normally have 14 days from the date of contract to cancel a purchase of digital content for any reason and receive a refund.

3. Waiver for instant access

Where you ask for immediate access to digital content — for example, starting an AI draft, downloading a book, unlocking a paid chapter, or consuming Quills — and confirm that you understand you will lose your 14-day cancellation right by doing so, that right ceases to apply once supply has begun (reg. 37(1A) CCR 2013). We capture this consent at checkout. If you do not give it, we will not begin supply until the 14 days have elapsed or you give consent.

4. Subscriptions

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from Account → Billing. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current paid period continues until its end date. We send a renewal reminder email at least 7 days before annual renewals. We will refund a single accidental renewal in full if you cancel within 14 days of that renewal and have not used the renewed period materially.

5. Unused Quills

Quills consumed by AI generation cannot be refunded for change of mind. Where a single generation fails through clear platform fault, we reissue up to 80% of the Quills spent on that generation upon request (see Terms §7). Unused Quills sit in your wallet until used; on account closure they are forfeited and not refundable in cash.

6. Faulty or misdescribed content

If a paid feature is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) or the equivalent in your country. Email admin@scribbla.com with details and screenshots; we will repair, replace or refund as appropriate.

7. How to request a refund

Email admin@scribbla.com from the address on your Scribbla account with the order reference (visible on your purchase-confirmation email and in Account → Billing). We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14 days. Approved refunds are issued via the original payment method.
